Hi everyone!

I hope you are all doing well and staying safe.

I thought this would be a great opportunity amidst all the chaos to bring back some positivity and good things to celebrate. We have decided to run our traditional STARs (Student Transformation and Recognition Awards) online, as unfortunately we cannot do this in person.

You can nominate yourself, your society, your committee, a volunteer or simply anyone you think has excelled this year in any of the possible awards that we have. Deadline for nominations is on Monday 11^th May at midday (12pm). Our student officer panel will then judge the nominations and we will announce the winners on the 14th May 2020 on an online platform (more details available soon).

STARs is a great way of recognising the people and the groups that have supported you throughout the year or that have gone above and beyond to make your (or anyone’s) university experience even more amazing! It is a way to say thank you to them and making sure they are getting the recognition they deserve.
