This week is Go Green Week at uea(su), a week where we focus on what we as a Students' Union and you as students can do to help the environment. Our sustainability-based societies are doing great work all year round and this week is an excellent chance to get involved and see what they do by taking part in the events they're running.
Yesterday the sustainability society ran a free zero waste workshop, where students learnt how to make toothpaste and body scrub from all natural ingredients. If you missed out, the workshop is repeated again on Thursday and you can grab a free ticket here
If you're interested in reducing your carbon footprint and saving on bus fayre by cycling, there will also be two cycling safety workshops
In addition there are biodiversity walks to take a look at the natural life of campus, film screenings and a talk about the potential of renewable technologies.
If you'd like to see what we're doing as a Union to become more sustainable, take a look at the sustainability pages of our website here.
