Settling back into university life

Welcome back everybody! I hope you have had a relaxing break and are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. Where there’s a new year and a new term it’s the perfect chance for a fresh start and it’s exciting to think about all of the brilliant things that we’ve got to look forward to this semester. Some of the highlights are:

Refreshers- the chance to take part in our schedule of fun activities and events! Click here to check out the full schedule of events, but if you’re looking for something to get involved with today, why not head over to the LCR between 10AM and 2PM for "Refreshers: the mix"! It'e the ulitmate day time social with party games, a chill-out zone, a photobooth, tuck shop and lots more.

Pimp my barrow- one of the biggest events in the uea(su) calendar...and it’s not one to miss! Get yourself into a team, pick a fancy-dress theme (this can be anything from superheroes to bananas) and decorate your wheelbarrow to match. It might sound a bit odd to those of you who have never been but it’s always great fun. It’s all in aid of The Big C charity and we’ve raised over £50,000 with it since 2006. Last year teams took their barrows to Earlham park where there was inflatables, food and dancing.

Here’s my team at the last PMB!
