Friday 8thMarch is international women's day! There are so many celebration events going on across the university, here’s a run-down of just a few:

Many schools are running cake or plant sales and coffee mornings to donate proceeds to different women+ charities. ENV, CMP, BIO and CEM are all running something – check below to see if something is going on in your school.

All day in the hive student clubs and societies will be helping us to celebrate with cakes, demonstrations, books and art. Head along to join in the fun – we will also have our banner painting session for reclaim the night.

In a few weeks time we are also running our reclaim the night event at the Dog House Norwich. Reclaim the Night is a protest against street harassment, hate crime and sexual, relationship and domestic violence. This year we are marching again on 21st March with the message of intersectionality, and particularly after Brexit, to say that Norwich is for all of us and we all have the right to be free from harassment and discrimination. You can find all the details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/431446867591115/
