Wednesday 19 February 2020, 1pm - 4pm

Meet Outside Congregation Hall

Get hands on blowing fusing your worn glass pieces to take home.

In this workshop you first get a demo on how to fuse and blow glass, then it is your turn!

You will be blowing glass to create a unique glass sphere or bauble of your own! You can choose a colour and create your own ball under expert instruction of the experienced tutor and glass artist Max Lamb (RCA).

Next, explore glass fusing and create a original glass panels. You will use different types of pre-cut colour glass shapes, colour inclusions and copper wire to design and create an original glass panel ready for fusing.

No experience required. Both pieces you make will need to cool before taking them home. You will be able to collect them from UEA once cooled, collected and brought to campus ready for you to collect.

This course would normally cost £35, but Do Something Different are offer it to you for only £5 and free transportation to and from the Salt Glass Studios, which is in the industrial estate above Mousehold Heath.

Meet outside of Congregation Hall on the steps to go with your group.

The glass blowing is done on a 1-to-1 basis, you will need to wait a little. It typically takes 15 minutes per person and you will be in groups of 4.
