2-way Volunteering Experience in the House at Blickling.

Up to 3 students can get inolved in this two-way volunteering experience - to find out more about conservation and a heritage property and what it takes to Blickling running and to feedback on impression of Blickling’s offer for younger adult visitors.

Transportion to and from is provided by DSD.

Part one: Spend some time with the team -Jan /Jo /Kenny/Christina/Rebecca/ Mercy/Beth – to find out more about how the house operates and to see/take part in conservation in action also to find out more about roles within the property.

Part 2: Buddy up with at least 3 House ambassadors during a shift – move from room to room – find out about their role and history of the house.

Part 3: Feedback to the team at the end of the day –What have they learned? Did the story of the house come alive for them? What have they learned about the trust? What else could we do to make a visit more engaging?

You will need soft indoor shoes and a packed lunch unless you wish to use the café facilities on site. There will be tea & coffee for breaks and space available for any personal belongings.
