This training is compulsory for uea+sport club signatories (President, Secretary and Treasurer) to attend. The training takes place online. Book a ticket to confirm your space and you will receive a Teams link in the email receipt.

This training session is compulsory for all club signatories (President, Secretary and Treasurer).

The session takes place online, will last for one hour and will consist of uea+sport and ueasu teaching you the content you need to know about your club's finances. There will be a chance to ask questions at the end of the session.

Please note, tickets for training will go live on the 21st April.. To secure your place at this training, please book a free ticket. After booking your free ticket, you will be sent a link to the Teams call in the email receipt that is sent upon booking.

Which training sessions do I need to attend?

All uea+sport club committee members will be informed which trainings they need to attend that are compulsory. They will also be informed which ones are optional to attend. The training programme for uea+sport clubs need to attend is delivered by both uea+sport and the SU. 

Club committee members also required to attend individual training sessions depending on their role. All clubs will be informed of this by uea+sport

When is training?

We are running training sessions in May, June, July and September. You can find the full timetable and book onto our training sessions here. 

Please note, we are running multiple of the same training sessions to ensure that individuals can attend training at a convenient time for them. You do not need to attend multiple training sessions for one role. 

Where is training taking place?

All training will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams or Microsoft Teams Live.

What happens if I don’t attend training?

If you do not attend the compulsory training for your committee role, your committee access to the website and the app will be revoked and you will not be able to fulfil your role. Your club will not be fully operational until all compulsory training is attended by the relevant positions.

I’ve previously attended this training, do I still need to attend?

Yes. Even if you held a committee position in previous years and attended this training session in the past, you still need to attend. This is because processes and information change each year and our training is updated to reflect this.
