Damon Albarn will be performing an intimate show with solo vocal and piano, in celebration of the release of his new album 'The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows', which is released on 12th November. The album was originally intended as an orchestral piece inspired by the landscapes of Iceland. Albarn developed the work in lock down into to eleven tracks which explore themes of fragility, loss, emergence and rebirth. The result is a panoramic collection of songs with Albarn as storyteller. The album title is taken from a John Clare poem Love and Memory.
