First aid course - only £10 per person! On completion of this course you will receive a Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate that is recognised by HSE. Please note this course will run on Tuesday 18:00 - 21:00 AND Wednesday 18:00 - 21:00

This is a 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work. During the course you will cover the following; Introduction to Course, Toilets, Fire Exits, Housekeeping etc Role of a First Aider/Aims of First Aid Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively/Primary Survey Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure) Administer CPR & AED Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from heart attack Administer first aid to a casualty who is choking Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding Understand the importance of preventing cross infection Understand the importance of recording incidents and actions Understand the importance of use of available equipment Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from burns and scalds Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries including: Small cuts, grazes, bruises and splinters On completion of this course you will receive a Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate that is recognised by HSE.
Do Something Different Price £10 per person. Normal Price £27.50 per person.
Please note that this course takes place over TWO nights. You need to attend BOTH sessions. Tuesday 19th 18:00 - 21:00 AND Wednesday 20th 18:00 - 21:00

We aim to encourage greater student interaction from across schools, liberations and courses that build your knowledge and skills as individuals. The best events will return during the Do Something Different Festival in Semester Two - a week-long celebration in which teaching is suspended for you to try a huge range of activities!
