walk & talk - the silent treatment
Wednesday 22 May 2019, 3pm - 4pm
Meet outside the Sainsbury Centre
A no-pressure walking group for postgraduate research students.
It's important to take a break every now and then. Physical activity can have a positive impact on the wellbeing of individuals with mental health issues, and regular breaks can help improve motivation and productivity levels. So why not join us for an afternoon walk around campus?
This Walk & Talk we will be heading over to the Earlham Hall walled garden to check out the work conducted by PhDiggers - our gardening group - who have been working on transforming the area into a Silent Space.
We will be meeting at the UEA Sainsbury Centre main entrance at 3pm, it would be great to see you there!
This walking group has been set up by the Courage Project, a collaboration between the UEA and the UEA Students' Union intended to improve the mental health and wellbeing of postgraduate research students.
