Please log in to buy tickets.
We wouldn't leave our wonderful postgrads without the obligatory summer estate trip, would we?
Holkham Hall was built in the 18th century as a home for the 1st Earl of Leicester, Thomas Coke. Today, it is still inhabited by the 8th Earl of Leicester and the rest of the Coke family. In the trip, we will get to see the Palladian architecture of the Hall, along with all its rooms, libraries, and dining hall. We will also visit the Walled Gardens and have the chance to experience a farming simulation. All in all, a great way to spend the first Sunday of August! We will be leaving from Union House (outside the LCR) at 11am.
Please note that the availability of tickets for this event is very limited. If you book a ticket and are no longer able to attend, please e-mail email@example.com at least 48 hours before the event so that we can open your place to other people.
The £5 deposit is only in place to ensure attendance, and will be paid back to you if you attend the event (or inform us that you are unable to attend at least 48 hours prior to the event).
Failing to show up with no warning or subsequent justification may affect your ability to book into future pg(su) events.
