Reclaim the Night

Thursday 02 March 2017, 4pm - 10pm

Reclaim the Night is back! It’s our second year and we are continuing to march for safer and better streets. Bring your friends, bring your voices, join the march, let’s make Norwich safe for everyone. We are fundraising for Leeway, a local domestic abuse charity, so bring your change!
We have a great list of speakers who will be marching with us:

Lord Mayor of Norwich – Marion Maxwell
NUS Women’s Officer – Hareem Ghani
Leeway (domestic abuse charity) spokesperson – Helen Burrows

The night will start with a Poetry Evening organised by UEA Pride and UEA Migrant Solidarity Campaign.
Poets to be announced soon! (if you’re interested email [email protected])

Speeches and the march will commence between 8 – 8.30, bring your placards and your whistles – the march will end at Flaunt (FREE ENTRY) at 9.30.

We are also campaigning for safer streets because we want to Light Up Norwich – sign our petition, share your story and help make our streets safer for everyone: https://www.change.org/p/norfolk-county-council-light-up-norwich
