MathSoc's Open Lecture is an opportunity for students to deliver a 10-20 minute talk on any topic in mathematics which sparks their interest. Any students - from first years to postgrads - can present!
Fancy turning the tables and being the one to give a lecture? MathSoc’s third ever ‘open lecture’ gives you the chance to do exactly this as we invite both undergraduate and postgraduate students to give a 10-20 minute talk on any (mathematical) topic that spikes their interest. This is great practice for third and fourth years for the presentation element of projects or dissertations, but it is open to anyone interested - even first years.
The event takes place in the afternoon of Wednesday, 3rd March. If you’d like to get involved or wish to find out more, please contact MathSoc at email@example.com. We already have a couple of speakers lined up!
If you don't want to give a lecture, anyone is welcome to come along to watch - even if you aren't a UEA student!
