What will you learn?
The Foundations for Aerial Arts course is a two hour mixed level class designed to build the foundations for aerial performance. You will have the opportunity to expand your skills (or try for the first time) a variety of aerial equipment, including aerial silks, hoop (lyra), trapeze, rope, static cloud, and Chinese pole. Foundational acrobatics required for aerial the course will also be covered, with the aim of development of strength, stamina, and skills for students to devise their own routines. All classes will include a warm up, as well as cool down and stretch. Suitable for beginners up to advanced.
Dates and times
The course is 4 week course, from 11am-1pm every Saturday, beginning on April 29th. You will be taught by experienced, professional aerialists who have worked for many years in performing and teaching aerial arts. The course will be open to public booking from April 14th, so book now to avoid disappointment!
LIT have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe twice, selling out most shows last year with the Hogwallops, with Massi and Annabel of LIT having performed in NoFit State's large scale production Barricade.
