About UEA Athletics

UEA Athletics Club caters for members of all ability, whether you want to make some new friends to go on casual jogs with, or you want to compete at the highest level.

We offer training for sprints, long distance, and field events. If you want to try something new, improve your fitness, or recieve great coaching, join UEA Athletics this year!

We are a friendly club, with a great social atmosphere, and we would love you to have you on the team!

Training

We offer sprints, long distance, and jumps training (also with City of Norwich Athletics Club).

Sprints Training
Tuesday: 5.30 - 7:00pm (Track)
Thursday: 5.3:0 - 7:00 pm (Track)

We also do hill training at Earlham Park September through to November.

Long Distance Training
Monday: 5:30-7:00pm (City Academy/Colney Playing Fields)
Thursday: 5:30-7:00pm (Track)

Jumps Training
Tuesday: 6-7pm (Track)
Thursday: 6-7pm (Track)
 

Open Track:
Wednesday: 2-4pm (Track)

Saturday: 10-12pm (track)

If you would like to do throws or pole vault training, get in touch with our track captain who will be able to put you in touch with a coach.

Competitions

We aim to compete as much as possible for UEA through open meetings and BUCS championships. Open meetings are a great way to achieve personal goals, qualification standards, and most importantly have fun. We compete at BUCS Indoor Championships and Outdoor Championships.
