MIxed Martial Arts may be for you! MMA is one of the biggest and most exciting combat sports in the world, why not give it a try?

UEA MMA utilises a mixture of Muay Thai, Kickboxing, No Gi grappling and Jiu Jitsu; allowing you to explore MMA for yourself!

No matter your background, everyone is welcome! We are a club which caters to all abilities - whether you're a beginner, the next Khabib, or somewhere inbetween, we have something for everybody. There is not and never will be any pressure on you to train at a level of intensity that you're not comfortable with. That being said you can also join our most determined members in developing your skills as quickly as possible if you're wanting a challenge.

We can offer plenty of advice about altering your body composition, developing strength and plenty of other fitness related topics.

If you want to join our fantastic and friendly team, get in touch or come to a session! It's loads of fun and a great way to meet new people. 

Training hours for April/May/June 2021:

Wednesday: 5 - 7 pm

Sunday: 2 - 4 pm

All training sessions wil be held at the Colney Lane Rugby Fields. Make sure to book your attendance before attending any sessions. This is for gathering track and trace details.

Sports and Societies Executive Election 2021-22

It is that time of year when members of clubs and societies elect new Sports and Society Executives that will sit on either Societies Executive meetings, or Sports Executive meeting. The Societies Executive subcommittee is designed to be a form of student consultation and representation, meaning attendees input on topics to help develop and improve clubs and societies at UEA, as well as contributing to the approval of grants and new societies.

Nominations open at 10:00 on Wednesday 28 July 2021 (in 10 hours)

The polls open at 10:00 on Thursday 12 August 2021 (in 15 days)
