Here at UEA Tap we welcome every one of all abilities from complete novices to those who have been dancing their whole lives.

We offer technique classes in Tap dance as well as the chance to participate in competitions and shows. For those of you wishing to try something new we have spare tap shoes so please don’t let any worries about not being kitted out stop you from having a go!

We are a small friendly group of people who just want to tap dance!

Our year membership is only £15 however, as with all sports at UEA, each member must also have a Sports Association Membership card from the UEA Student Union.

Classes are on Thursdays and/or Sundays in the Kiff Matheson Room in the Sportspark with times being dependant on your level and whether you are competing or not.

Within this current academic year of 2018/2019 we aim to continue participating and achieving in inter-university competitions and shows, as well as Derby Day against Essex University. In recent years we have excelled in our achievements at competitions and hope to continue performing at our best representing the university of East Anglia.
