I'm a member of the public

As a member of the public, you can become an associate member of uea(su). Associate membership for members of the public costs £50, which must be bought alongside society or club membership fee. Both memberships last from the point of purcahse to the 31st of July that academic year.
How do I become an associate member?
  • If you wish to become an associate member, the first thing you will need to do is to create a guest account on this website. To do this, click the login icon in the top right corner, then navigate to the guest/staff login, and select register new user.
  • Once you have made a guest account, you will need to fill out this form and send it over to union.opportunities@uea.ac.uk. If approved, we will then get in contact with you to finish making your associate account.
  • We also have paper version of these forms available in the SU office which you can fill out in person.

If you wish to join a club after the Christmas break in January, the cost of SAM reduces to £30. For more information click here.
BUCS Membership
Most of our sports club have team in the BUCS league, which allows university teams to compete against each other. If you have a UEA Campus Card, you can take part in the BUCS league.
Society and Club Committees
Please bear in mind that, as an associate member, you will not be able to take part in elections of student representatives or in those of clubs and societies committees, as they are UEA student led.
Code of Conduct
