Despite being a relatively new society, we've had a very impressive opening year in 2015. Our society continued to be even more successful in the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 academic years and we hope to continue with showing students of UEA what the Bengali culture has to offer throughout the 2019/20 academic year, such as through curry nights at local Bangladeshi restaurants, movie nights based on campus, music and dance performances at the LCR, events revolving around Bengali language and dialect, weekly sports opportunities and plenty more! We plan on getting more in touch with our culture through language lessons, documentary screenings and an introduction to famous Bangladeshi literature. Everyone is welcome, we are all for integrating with and collaborating with all other societies, and we hope to see you in the next academic year!
