CoppaFeel! is a nationally run charity, the only one in the UK that focuses on promoting awareness of breast cancer in younger people. We’re on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer in women under 35. Our goal is to make sure every guy, gal, and non-binary pal knows the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, knows what their boobs (/pecs) look and feel like normally, promoting regular self-checking throughout your lifetime and most importantly having the confidence to see a doctor if you notice anything that doesn’t feel right for you. We run on the idea if we can even get just one person to check themselves when they wouldn't have before, we could save a life.
We are very friendy and fun bunch of guys and girls, who have a passion for boobs and looking after them. We not only organise lots of fundraising activities but also host loads of fun and informative socials for everyone to get stuck in to. Volunteering and being part of a charity whilst at university really enhances your employability- it's a great thing to put on your CV! At £3 we're also one of the cheapest societies at UEA.
