Leeway is a specialist domestic abuse charity supporting adults, children and young people who have or who still are experiencing domestic abuse.

Established in 1974, Leeway works in Norfolk and Suffolk, supporting adults, children and young people, who are experiencing domestic abuse.  We are affiliated to Women's Aid, which is the national organisation, supporting and resourcing the UK network of over 500 domestic abuse services.  We believe in partnership working to prioritise the safety of adults, children and young people and aim to empower service users by providing them with time and space they need, to make safe decisions about their future.

 The society aims to

- Raise awareness on campus of relations/domestic abuse and how students can access support

- Hold 3 fundraising activities per year, with all surplus going to the Leeway Charity

- Have a programme of training/peer education events throughout the year.

Starting in January 2018, we hope to meet once a month to plan fundraising events, host speakers from the local community for discussions around support for survivors of relationship abuse, and provide opportunities to volunteer and access training.
