Welcome to UEA Art Society!

What is UEA Art Society?

UEA Art Society is for everyone interested in the visual arts. We encourage anyone to join, regardless of ability, as the society offers a creative and welcoming environment and inclusive space that allows everyone to pursue their passion for art at their own pace and ability. There is no need to study art or have any previous experience!

We host friendly and casual weekly practical sessions including life drawing sessions, and mixed media sessions which can include anything from our popular Bob Ross painting sessions, to clay sculpting, to lino printing. Here, we create a fun and friendly safe space where you can socialise with other members, make friends, and enhance your artistic skills.

What will a UEA Art Society Membership give you access to?

UEA Society Fair 2021

Come find the UEA Art Society stall at UEA's Society Fair on Tuesdy 21st September 2021 from 11am-4pm in the main sports hall of the UEA Sportspark! Talk to some of our committee members about our plans for the upcoming year and feel free to ask us any questions or concerns you may have!

Don't want to take part in the creative sessions?

If you love art but do not wish to participate in the creative sessions, UEA Art Society is still for you! Our society is a vibrant community of kind and caring students who are all about having fun outside of our studies. By following us on our social media and reading our society newsletter you can still keep up-to-date with what we get up to and choose which activities and opportunities you'd like to get involved in.

Promoting UEA Student Art

UEA Art Society is also a platform for promoting and celebrating budding UEA student artists. If you have artwork that you would like us to promote via our social media, please get in contact with us!

What about art resources?

We will always give you advance warning if you are required to purchase any resources or equipment for any of our sessions, however at a lot of our events the resources will always be provided as this is what your £5 membership will go towards! Of course, you are welcome to bring your own resources too!
