Raising And Giving (RAG)
Welcome to UEA Raising and Giving
"You Can Make a Difference, We Make it Easier"
About Us:
Here at UEA Raising and Giving we have a clear mission, which is to fundraise and raise as much money as posible for our chosen charities. By doing so we are supporting their vital work and helping to make the world a better place. As a Society we run various activities and events throughtout the year such as pub quizzes, or UEA's Naked Calendar. We also hold socials too; which are great fun and is the perfect opportunity to meet the other members of the society. There is something for everyone!
RAG is modestly priced the society especially when you consider all that it has to offer: a chance to get involved with fundraising and contributing towards making a massive difference in numerous people's lives, having fun while doing so and also meeting new friendly like-minded people. And if you needed even more of a reason we also offer various volunteering opportunities which are a great way to boost your CV!
Th
is year our main three partner charities are Map (local charity supporting young people with issues relating to mental health, money, housing, sexuality and gender, relationships and more), CATTs (National cancer awareness charity aimed at teens and twenties and working to encourage discussions about health in young people) and finally, War Child (International charity working to deliver vital protection, education and psychological support after trauma to children living in conflict areas). Here at RAG we are one big family and take pride in what we do and would love to have you join us to help to make the world a better place!
