Discover a flexible brand managment programme with
Following the successful launch of Do Something Different in 2017, we’re looking for 40 enthusiastic student volunteers to join our new team as DSD Ambassadors.
If you’re interested in marketing, communication and event management, then being a brand ambassador will give you the opportunity to develop these skills in a hands-on way.
Ambassadors will help develop the DSD brand by attending activities, including zorb football and trips across the country. You’ll interact with students and organisers, be a figurehead for the DSD brand and write a short summary of each activity that will feature on the DSD website.
Being an ambassador is a flexible and low commitment role that requires you to attend one, or more, DSD sessions of your choice each week. You’ll also have a chance to take a leading volunteer role within the Do Something Different Festival.
What will you get?
By being an ambassador, you’ll receive:
A free comfy DSD hoody to wear to your events.
Exclusive (and free) training in first aid, marketing, and copywriting.
Skills to organise and lead your own activities - whatever your interests!
The chance for you and a friend to attend some of the most anticipated activities, events and trips for free.
To be an Ambassador, you’ll need to attend one mandatory training session, where we’ll equip you with all the skills you need to get started. These training sessions are on:
- Wednesday 10th October 3pm-5pm
- Saturday 13th October 11am-1pm
- Tuesday 16th October 4pm-6pm
- Thursday 18th October 9am-11am
After your first session, you’ll be offered additional free training in first aid, social media, marketing and accessible event leadership.
How to Apply:
Ready to get started? Complete the application form below! Applications are open until Friday 5th October!
Once you've completed the form, we'll get in touch with all applicants to let you know whether you have been successful. You’ll then be provided with available training dates to begin your Ambassador journey.
