History soc field trip: Historic Norwich Tour

Wednesday 29 September 2021, 2pm - 4pm

The Forum in Norwich City Centre

A 2 hour tour of some of Norwich's historic landmarks, perfect if you've just moved in to town, or are interested in learning more about the past of our fine city.

Come and get a feel of Norwich’s past with a professional guided tour of some of our fine city’s historic landmarks.

A great opportunity to get your bearings around the city centre and learn more about those who lived in Norwich before us.

The tour will feature: churches and chocolate: fire and floods: plague and pubs: religion and royalty: shops and shoes: wars and weavers: yards and yarn and more!

We will meet outside the Forum in Norwich city centre.

Some committee members will also be available to meet at UEA in the hive at 1.15pm, from where we will get the bus into town and walk to the forum, suggested for anyone who is uncertain about how to get around Norwich.

While not a requirement for this trip, we encourage everyone to be COVID safe and comply with one of the following:

• Full vaccination – remember second dose must be at least 14 days prior to the event.

• Natural immunity – based upon a positive PCR test within 180 days of the event.
