The Speech and Language Therapy Society is for anyone with an interest in Speech and Language Therapy, not only for those studying it. SLTs work with those who have communication and/or swallowing difficulties. A focal part of our society is fundraising for charities associated with SLT as well as raising overall awareness of what SLT’s do through working with the Giving Voice Charity. Membership will give you access to our ‘Special Interest Groups’ (SIGs) that we run throughout the year on particular aspects of SLT. We also run socials throughout the year so all our members can get to know each other!
At the beginning of the academic year we will be running a social which we welcome you to come along to and chat to our current committee and other society members and find out a bit more about what we will be doing throughout the year. More information about this will appear on this page or can be found on our Facebook group - if you have paid for your membership please request to join by following the link under 'web address' above!
If you would like any more information please do not hesitate to contact us on our email address that can be found on this page.
