incoming: the edge conference

Hi everyone!

It is that time of the year where we are holding our annual Edge Conference here at UEA on the 14th March.

The Edge conference is designed to provide students with personal development opportunities in order to provide skills to make you into the leaders of the future.

This event is for anyone and everyone. This includes UEA SU’s team leaders, managers and all student staff who are interested in gaining new skills that will help them progress within the organisation, as well as for jobs they apply for during or after university.

Throughout the day, students can expect a whole range of different workshops which are designed to improve your employability, equip you with essential life skills and gain practical knowledge that can be used every day in both a personal and professional capacity.

It is not all just about the graft, we’ll also be running free yoga and mindfulness sessions, as well as crafty activities and massages for attendees to enjoy.

To keep your mind and body fuelled all day, there will be a slap-up lunch of hot dogs and tacos with refreshments provided, plus you’ll walk away with a goody bag full of cool stuff too.

It is free to attend, you can register your place here. Here is the full rundown of what is on offer at this incredibly useful event.
