We take the security of your data when you apply for a job with us seriously, and we will never share any personal data you supply. Data from application forms is held securely on the UEA IT Office 365 system, protected from being viewed by anyone other than key HR staff.

Contact details are used solely to keep in touch with you through the application process, and get in touch if something happens we need to speak to you about. Our primary method of communication is via email, so please make sure you supply us an email address you frequently use (for students, please only use your UEA email address), and we'd recommend giving us at least a mobile phone number in case we need to check in with you.

If you secure a student or career staff position, some data is kept on the UEA IT Office 365 system, but the majority of the information we keep will be hosted on our HR management system, PeopleHR. PeopleHR uses secure data storage hosted in the UK, and each person's account is password protected. Only relevant HR staff have access to all files, and managers are only able to see information specifically useful to managing a member of staff.
