A message from Toby Maskell, Undergraduate Faculty Convenor (Science) 2019/20

We want to hear your experiences with Timetabling and Teaching Spaces on Campus - interested? Submit feedback here.

This year the Course Reps, School and Faculty Convenors have heard from you about issues with your timetable, and problems faced in rooms where your teaching is held. As the Science UG Faculty Convenor I've been keen to look into this deeper and collect information from you all to feed these into the University, highlighting any particular areas of issue.

The University is currently looking at and reviewing the Learning Spaces here on campus. Myself, Callum and Martin (our Education Officers) have been involved in some discussions about these reviews, and so we would like to hear from you to help them understand the experience you have as students being taught in these spaces.

We have a short survey we would like you to complete that you can find here that asks about your experiences with timetabling and for details of where there have been sessions scheduled in rooms that have not been appropriate for your studies. This feedback will inform the conversations that I and other Convenors, and the Education Officers will have with the University.

It should not take more than ten minutes to complete the questions and your input to the survey would be really helpful to us. We have included on the survey an area to leave your email address in case you want to hear back about the research once completed. Thanks for reading.
