We know that this past year has been tough, and you may not have had the opportunities that you usually would have to gain additional skills alongside your studies, so that's why we've created Your Personal Development Programme (YourPDP).
What is YourPDP?
Your PDP is a collection of resources, live events, workshops, training sessions and classes that you can get involved with to learn some additional skills covering topics such as employability, wellbeing, creativity, life skills (and more!) brought to you by The National Careers Service, Udemy, The Open University, Future Learn, UEASU, UEA Sport, Student Support Services, Career Central, Clubs, Societies, as well as partnering with professional external speakers.
Sounds great! How do I get involved?
We've tried to break down all of the information, events and resources as much as possible via the categories below. So why not have a look around and see if there's something you'd like to try! If you have any questions or can't find what you're looking for, just email Alys at email@example.com who will be happy to help.
P.S. Some of these courses are great to take part in if you’ve ever thought of becoming a committee member of a club or society too! For more information on the different committee roles and their responsibilities, click here.
I think I've got something that I could bring to YourPDP!
Maybe you're a Club or Society who has a skill that you could teach? Or maybe you're an external professional who would like to run a workshop for us? Whoever you are, if you've got an idea or something that you could bring to YourPDP then we'd love to hear from you! Just email Alys at firstname.lastname@example.org with your ideas and we'll go from there!
