The University of East Anglia Liberal Democrats is one of the largest political societies on campus. Throughout the academic year we host an active agenda of socials, campaigning sessions and trips. You’ll see a full list of our planned events for the first semester towards the bottom of this page, if you're a member. If you're not, and want to hear about what we do - just get in contact to enquire! Members have access to a range of social and political events, in addition to election rights to appoint the committee and meet similar thinking people. 

The Society has close links with the local Norwich Lib Dem’s as well as the wider Party. Many of our students leave the university to secure full time jobs in politics, through these experiences and links they’ve enjoyed from the society.

The Society plays a key part in local politics in and around Norwich and is committed to ensuring that there is a Lib Dem presence throughout campus and the wider city. We work closely with Lib Dem councillors that sit in City Hall and will endeavour to allow them to retain their seats in the 2021 local elections!
