POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 until academic year 2020/2021! It’s no secret that mental health is a valid concern of many UEA students, it’s time for us students to take the first steps and inform ourselves on a topic that is still such a taboo.

Headucate are proud to present UEA's first ever Student Mental Health Conference, HeaduConference: in Partnership with Mental Health Aware UK.
It’s no secret that mental health is a valid concern of many UEA students, it’s time for us students to take the first steps and inform ourselves on a topic that is still such a taboo.

This is your chance to attend lectures about multiple topics including:
- Eating disorders - current research
- Maternal Mental Health
- LGBTQ+ Mental Health
- Doctors’ Mental Health
- Digital Mental Health
- War, PTSD & refugees

Followed by multiple workshops running in the afternoon covering;
- Dramatherapy
- Addiction
- Sports Mental health
- BAME Mental health
- Applying for DSA for Mental health
- Psychlife (for budding Psychiatrists)
and more!

It’s going to be a great opportunity to learn something, discuss new ideas with other people, and meet inspiring professors and researchers as well as question them on their specialist topics. The day will end with a Q&A for all who would like to stay.

Plus, medical students can send us posters on the subject and gain points for FY applications. We hope to publish a booklet of abstracts! There will be prizes for the best posters chosen by speakers.

The conference will run 9-5 and will involve lectures in the morning and workshops in the afternoon. Breakfast, lunch & snacks will be provided throughout the day.

Keep an eye out as tickets will be on sale soon! £7.50 for Headucate members, £10 for non-members
