UEA Music Welcome

Wednesday 23 September 2020, 5pm - 6pm

Microsoft Teams

UEA Music Centre is holding an online UEA Music Welcome gathering for new students on Wednesday 23 September from 5-6pm.

If you are interested in finding out about the musical opportunities on offer at UEA, please come along. There will be introductions by the Director of Music, and representatives from Music Society, Music Recording and Production Society and Showchoir, covering ways to get involved. You will be able to find out about the wide range of student-led music making and the ensembles everyone is welcome to join.

You will have the opportunity to: find out about the UEA Choir, Chamber Choir and Symphony Orchestra auditions; discover how to sign up for Practice Room access; and learn more about UEA’s £800 Music Centre Awards. There will also be a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about music at UEA.

Most importantly, you will begin to meet the diverse, friendly and welcoming network of people who will be your colleagues in music making. Experienced players and singers are encouraged to come and find out about music making, but if you are wondering about singing in a choir or joining an ensemble for the first time you are equally welcome. We look forward to meeting you.

The event is free to attend (there is no need to register in advance) and open to all UEA students. How to attend: The event will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and can be accessed here or by using the following link https://bit.ly/2Y5kVXx (you do not need to download any software to access the event).
