At uea(su), we are proud to have such an active and dedicated student community. More than 3,000 of our amazing students volunteer their time running clubs and societies, helping their peers and making change in their communities. With so many students working hard to make UEA wonderful, we know it’s important to take pause and recognise the impact they have made.
Alongside our annual Student Transformation Awards, we want to regularly recognise our volunteers and highlight the impact they have made. This is where we need you!

Who can complete this form?
Any UEA student! If you feel another student has led an activity, created a campaign or simply gone out of their way to better the student experience at UEA – we want to highlight it!
What happens after I complete the form?
A member of the Student Opportunities Team at uea(su) will be in touch with the student you have nominated to say thank you and share the impact they have made. We can also support them to recognise their skills by endorsing them on Linkedin and writing a recommendation.
Who can I recognise and what type of activity can I write about?
You can recognise any other student who you feel has gone above and beyond either in their voluntary role. Here are some examples of the activity you might write about:
· Gone over and beyond or excelled in their volunteer role
· Has broken down participation barriers for other students
· Has transformed as an individual this year
· Has developed a fantastic campaign
