when things go wrong

when things go wrong

Sometimes renting doesn't always work out as we hoped and you could find yourself in dispute with either your landlord or your other housemates. If this has happened to you we can support you, you're not on your own.

Whatever the issue you can come and speak to one of our advice workers who'd be happy to discuss the issue with you as well as any concerns you may have.

You'll receive advice on your rights and obligations under the tenancy contract and the law and support you to draw up a plan of action. We can assist with any correspondence and act on your behalf with landlords, agents and others where appropriate.

Appointments are available on weekdays between 10:00 - 16:00 all year round. Book ahead or drop in to reception to see if someone can see you that day.

An advice worker will be on hand on weekdays at Union House between 11:00 - 13:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to answer quick queries and to give initial help and pre-appointment guidance.
