be part of the biggest team on campus
Before I was elected as your activity and opportunities officer, I worked in the Venues team for just under two years and it was such a fantastic experience.
uea(su) pays all staff the national living wage, and this includes student staff! This is currently £8.75 per hour (better than most student jobs in Norwich) and we also pay 12.07% holiday pay on top of this.
As a student member of staff, there’s a range of development opportunities to get involved in. From Student Transformation Weekend in September to Edge Conference in February, we invest a lot of time in upskilling all our teams.
As well as all this, we celebrate the success of our staff at our end of year party, so keep an eye out for the Student Transformation Awards & Recognitions coming in May. Each department also runs staff socials throughout the year which are a great way to unwind and meet other members of the team!
Like the sound of this? Get involved! The whole application process is online on our new website at ueasu.work. If you have any questions just message me or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Good luck!
Also here’s this week’s sports fixtures – good luck to all our teams!
