This will be the last Meltdown Live for a while folks so come along and show your support. 4 bands for £6 and all 18+ ticket holders get to stay for Meltdown after the show. Bargain!
Front Bangs aka The Frontsons was born when some right farmer tractor boys from the depths of Norwich and Milson decided to put their hairy heads together and make some funkin’ noise.
Slackrr are one of the most talked about bands in the UK Underground circuit right now. Hailing from Southampton, the pop punk band have only been active for a year and in that time they have taken some giant leaps towards becoming a well-known and loved name across the UK underground.
Oliver Beardmore is a 20 year old singer songwriter, formally of the band Pretence, who’s been writing songs since late 2013. Inspired by the likes of David Bowie, Arctic Monkeys, John Lennon, The Strokes and The Smiths, Oliver aims to progress as far as possible into the music industry with his heartfelt and resonate pieces. He subsequently received praise for his "proper songs" from Dave Rowntree of Blur.
Purple Doors are an amalgamation of several influences and musical styles ranging from traditional jazz and blues to classic and modern rock. While they certainly pack a punch, their sound is relatively clean, relying on rhythm and melody to express themselves.
