walk & talk - your PhD, what next?
Tuesday 30 July 2019, 1pm - 2pm
Meet outside the Sainsbury Centre
It's important to take a break every now and then. Physical activity can have a positive impact on the wellbeing of individuals with mental health issues, and regular breaks can help improve motivation and productivity levels. So why not join us for an afternoon walk around campus?
In this themed Walk & Talk we will be joined by UEA Careers Central PGR Adviser, Rosemary Bass, as we walk and talk about careers after a PhD. Are you starting to wonder what your next steps will be? Are you thinking about applying for post-PhD positions? No idea what you want to do after your PhD? You are not alone! Join us on a gentle walk around UEA campus to walk and talk about all things careers.
We will be meeting at the UEA Sainsbury Centre main entrance at 1pm, it would be great to see you there!
This walking group has been set up by the Courage Project, a collaboration between the UEA and the UEA Students' Union intended to improve the mental health and wellbeing of postgraduate research students.
