We are run by students for students. We understand that students need to be involved in the work we do and this requires a sense of ownership. Students need to provide steer to staff and elected officers. This requires a platform and bringing everything together.
International Assembly is open to all international students to discuss issues and ensure that decisions affecting international students are made by those students. It is an informal space to express your opinions, where you can actually make a difference. The International Assembly will set international-focused policy to mandate the work of the InternationalSU Committee and international representatives of the Student Officer Committee. It will also be able to send policy recommendations to Union Council.
Meetings take place in the Bookable Rooms of Union House (upstairs). Drinks and pizza are provided -

The creation of a committee allows for students to be at the heart of developing our activities. Creation of the committee will provide steer and involvement with projects and cross working. The creation of this round table will increase dialogue and cooperation amongst different cultural societies as well as developing more opportunities to work together and look at how more activities encouraging integration can occur.
