We are your students’ union at the University of East Anglia and we’re the heart of student life at UEA.
We are students learning and developing through opportunities to do things. We are a SU, run by students, and we change every year as students change. We are about changing your course, your community and your world.
Since you’re starting a degree or postgraduate course here, you’re officially a new member of the SU. Based right in the middle of campus, we’re full of life, energy, passion and emotion.
As a member led charity we often run fund raising events to support our charity purpose and objectives.
At uea(su), we are looking forward to saying hello to all students.
We have a broad range of events covering talks, conventions, trips to the city to fayres attended by thousands of students. Whatever you might be interested in, we'll give you an opportunity to meet like-minded people and make friends for life.
These events will include events and activities aimed towards postgraduate, international and mature members.
Registering/Sign Up Q&A
Q: How do I log into the site?
A: You can log into the site by clicking the Log In icon on the top right of the page via the 'Login using your University credentials' button with your UEA username.
Q: What is my UEA username?
A: Your UEA username (or 323 as we like to call it) is made up of three letters, two numbers followed by three letters again. For example abc12def. The University should have sent you information of what your username is.
Q: What if I don't have my UEA username yet?
A: You can create a guest account from Monday 21st August here.
Q: When I log into the site with my UEA username, it's not working or saying my account hasn't matched?
A: Don't panic, this basically means that your data hasn't loaded onto our system just yet, you can wait or you are free to create a guest account and we'll work to merge accounts at a later stage.
Q: When I log in, I'm taken to a profile page, what is this for?
A: The profile page simply asks you a few questions around email/SMS communications as well as questions about you so that we can better understand and cater for your membership of the students' union.
